Evanger’s Grain-Free Rabbit Wet Dog Food Review

Evanger’s Grain-Free Rabbit Wet Dog Food Review

Our Recommendation

For dogs who have allergies to poultry, rabbit seems to be a good diet for their intestinal tract. Evanger’s  Grain-Free Rabbit Wet Food is one of Evanger’s many game foods intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding.

Upon reading the ingredients, I noticed Evanger’s features a holistic formula made from proteins and zero preservatives or fillers. Since dogs are omnivores, this grain-free rabbit formula is full of protein and vegetables. Moreover, Beta-carotene is also part of the dietary formula added to help dogs with their production of Vitamin A.

Evanger’s canned foods include the fatty acids Omega 6, Omega 3 from plenty of meat. The holistic formula contains no preservatives or fillers making it an ideal food for dogs with food allergies.

Each serving is conveniently packed in a 6-ounce pop-top can and features:

  • High-quality rabbit full of protein.
  • The ability to provide protein rotation that can be mixed with Evanger’s  diet dry food.
  • Zero corn, wheat, soy, preservatives or fillers.

Ingredients

Rabbit, Water Sufficient for Processing, Liver, Guar Gum.

Transition Instructions

Usually, the gradual increase of new food to old is recommended when you switch new foods. However, since Evanger’s is meant to be a complement to Evanger’s dry foods, you should follow your vet’s directive.

Feeding Amounts

Evanger’s canned rabbit is pure meat, therefore, I advise you consult with your canine’s vet prior to feeding your pup. The food formula serves as a transitionary diet only. Therefore, your dog’s vet would be able to decipher the right amount to feed your dog and/or if your little one can eat extreme amounts of protein.

Feeding Instructions

Evanger’s Canned Rabbit is pure meat. Therefore, this food must be used as a companion to Evanger’s Dry Foods, Evanger’s Vegetarian Dinner, or with any of Evanger’s complete and balanced meals.

I recommend asking your vet first when making any change to your pup’s diet. In addition, make sure you always have plenty of fresh and clean water for your little one.

The Bottom Line

Evanger’s Grain-Free Rabbit Wet Dog Food is made from exotic grain-free rabbit and mixed vegetables. It is meant to be used temporarily as a companion to Evanger’s complete and balanced kibbled diet. Its high protein formula makes a great supplement or treats for dogs.

If your little one suffers from allergies, Evanger’s Grain-Free Rabbit Wet Dog Food may be a good choice for your little furry one. However, make sure to consult your dog’s vet first before you make any changes to his diet.
